Welcome to TrueConnect, a service operated by Tech Ideas LLC ("Tech Ideas", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrueConnect hiring and onboarding platform, including the website located at trueconnect.ai and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, applying for a position through them, or opting in to receive messages, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. About TrueConnect

TrueConnect is a hiring and onboarding platform for the last-mile delivery and logistics industry. It lets companies (Amazon DSPs and FedEx ISPs) receive applications, run interviews, and onboard drivers, helpers, dispatchers and other team members; lets staffing agencies operate hiring for several client companies; and lets candidates apply and complete the hiring and onboarding process. Tech Ideas LLC is a Florida limited liability company with its principal place of business in Florida, and also operates other platforms and brands (such as OfferMile).

2. Definitions

"Candidate" means an individual who applies through TrueConnect to be hired by a Company for delivery, logistics, dispatch, fleet management, or operations work.

"Company" means a business entity (such as an Amazon DSP or FedEx ISP) that uses TrueConnect to receive applications, interview, hire, and onboard Candidates.

"Hiring Company" or "Agency" means a staffing or recruiting agency that operates hiring on behalf of one or more client Companies through TrueConnect.

"Sister Platforms" means other platforms owned and operated by Tech Ideas LLC, including OfferMile, with which TrueConnect may share data.

3. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
Be legally authorized to work in the United States if registering as a Candidate;
Be legally authorized to do business in the United States if registering as a Company or Agency;
Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.

Companies and Agencies must additionally comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

4. Account registration & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@trueconnect.ai of any unauthorized use. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent fees, screening, or other limits is prohibited.

5. SMS messaging program

If you provide your mobile number and opt in (by checking the SMS consent box on our application form), you agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from TrueConnect related to your application, hiring, and onboarding process. This includes one-time verification codes, interview scheduling and reminders, onboarding step notifications (such as account setup, background check status, and document requests), and training/orientation reminders.

Message frequency varies — up to about 3 messages per day during active recruitment, onboarding, and employment.
Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details.
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and stop receiving SMS messages from TrueConnect.
Reply HELP for help, or email support@trueconnect.ai.
Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of applying, of employment, or of using the Services. You can complete your process by email and your candidate portal instead.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Candidate terms

By applying as a Candidate, you represent and warrant that:

All information you provide is accurate and truthful;
You are legally authorized to work in the United States;
You consent to background checks, drug tests, and motor vehicle record checks as required by the hiring Company;
You authorize TrueConnect to share your application and profile information with the Company (and, where applicable, the Agency) you applied to.

The Services are free for Candidates. TrueConnect does not charge Candidates fees of any kind. Use of the Services does not create an employment relationship with Tech Ideas LLC and does not guarantee employment with any Company.

7. Company & agency terms

By registering as a Company or Agency, you represent and warrant that:

You have authority to bind the entity to these Terms;
You will use the Services only for legitimate hiring purposes;
You will comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and labor laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable "ban the box" laws;
You will treat Candidate information with appropriate confidentiality and will not share it outside your hiring team;
You are solely responsible for your own hiring decisions.

An Agency operating client Companies is responsible for its use of the Services on each client's behalf and for the access it grants to its team members.

8. The Service

We provide the Services "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Candidates will receive job offers, that Companies will find suitable Candidates, the accuracy of information provided by Users, or continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. TrueConnect is a platform, not an employer; we do not employ Candidates and are not party to the employment relationship between Companies and Candidates.

9. Fees & payment

Companies and Agencies pay fees for use of the Services (for example, a subscription and/or a fee per hire, or, for Agencies, a fee per active client company). The applicable fees are presented at the time of sign-up or hiring. By providing payment information, you authorize Tech Ideas LLC to charge the applicable fees through our payment processor (Stripe). Except as required by law, fees are non-refundable.

10. Background checks & FCRA compliance

Certain positions require background checks and the submission of sensitive information (such as a Social Security Number, identity documents, and — for some roles — a DOT medical card). Companies and Agencies that obtain such information through the Services agree to:

Comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local consumer-report laws;
Obtain written authorization from Candidates before procuring consumer reports;
Provide pre-adverse action and adverse action notices as required by law;
Use consumer-report information solely for permissible employment purposes.

Candidates consent to the procurement of consumer reports by the Company they applied to, subject to applicable FCRA disclosures, and agree to provide accurate information for these purposes.

11. Data sharing with sister platforms

Tech Ideas LLC operates other platforms that may share data with TrueConnect, including OfferMile. By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent that candidate information may be shared between TrueConnect and other Tech Ideas LLC platforms for operational and service-improvement purposes, and that all such sharing remains within Tech Ideas LLC and is not considered "third-party" data sharing under our Privacy Policy. Tech Ideas LLC does not sell User data to unaffiliated third parties. As stated in Section 5, your mobile phone number and SMS messaging consent are never shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

12. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information; impersonate any person or entity; harvest or scrape User data through automated means; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Services; interfere with or disrupt the Services; send unsolicited communications or "spam"; or discriminate against Candidates on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

13. Intellectual property

The Services and their original content (excluding User-provided content) are the exclusive property of Tech Ideas LLC and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Tech Ideas LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it as necessary to provide the Services.

14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Ideas LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tech Ideas LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, your violation of any third-party right, or any hiring or employment decision you make through the Services.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including your breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

18. Dispute resolution

Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to first contact us at support@trueconnect.ai and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. If it is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue formal legal action in accordance with Section 17.

19. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.

20. Miscellaneous

(a) Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tech Ideas LLC regarding the Services.

(b) Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

(c) Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.

(d) Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them without restriction.

(e) Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
